Precautions before phacoemulsification
1. The patient should do a general examination the day before the operation.
2. Clean the eyes with eye drops as prescribed by the doctor before the operation.
3. Patients should not catch a cold before surgery, and ensure a good rest.
4. Do not use cosmetics around the eyes on the day of surgery.

Precautions after phacoemulsification
Avoid strong sunlight first. Wearing sunglasses or sun hats can effectively prevent damage to the lens when you are outdoors.
Secondly, a nutritionally balanced diet, drinking more water, eating less salt, taking sufficient vitamin E and C, not smoking, and actively preventing adult diseases such as diabetes.
