The dental handpiece is the most commonly used device for clinical treatment in dentistry. Our company has newly released a new type of dental handpiece. Dental handpieces are divided into dental high-speed handpieces and dental low-speed handpieces.
Dental high-speed handpieces, also known as high-speed handpieces, high-speed pneumatic turbine handpieces, dental drill handpieces, etc., are commonly used medical devices for dental treatment. Its working principle is to use compressed air as the power to drive the wind wheel to rotate at high speed, thereby driving the dental bur to complete the operations such as drilling and grinding of the teeth. The speed of high-speed mobile phones reaches more than 300,000 rpm, which is mainly used for treatment and repair (such as drilling and cutting).
Low-speed handpieces are divided into straight machines and curved machines. Straight machines are used for grinding and polishing, and are treated outside the mouth. If they are curved, they are treated intraorally.

Before using the handpiece:1. Start the foot switch before installing the mobile phone, spray the remaining air and water in the pipe, and observe whether the air and water are normal; 2. Install dental handpiece and bur; 3. Button type (capping type): Press the button on the head of the mobile phone tightly to load and unload the needle, release the button, and the needle is clamped. After installing the bur, test it by hand to see if it is in place. 4. Turn on the foot switch, adjust the water to the appropriate flow rate, and adjust the air to the appropriate pressure.
Note: It is strictly forbidden to step on the foot switch before the bur is installed on the mobile phone, otherwise the clamping mechanism will be easily damaged.
Dental handpiece in use:1. In use, care must be taken, meticulous and slight.
2. Regardless of the angle, it should be operated in the way of lifting up and down, so that it can be lightly touched and jogged, and must not be forced laterally.
3. Use the improved pen-holding style to hold the mobile phone, find a stable fulcrum, and operate intermittently.
4. According to the different tooth positions and the shape of the prepared hole, replace the handpiece and bur in time to minimize the wear on the handpiece bearing.
5. It is necessary to use sharp burs. Blunt burs are not only time-consuming and laborious, but also cause damage to the mobile phone and increase the pain of patients.
6. During use, always check whether the needles are loose to avoid flying needles.
7. Choose different mobile phones according to different clinical situations (for example, use a mini-type mobile phone that does not affect the line of sight for posterior pulp opening; use a high-torque mobile phone with strong force in tooth preparation)
8. The one-time workload is too large, two mobile phones should be used in turn, one to avoid excessive damage to the mobile phone, and the other to save replacement time.
9. The air pressure and water pressure will change with the use of the treatment table. Therefore, the air pressure and water pressure should be checked frequently during clinical operations to ensure the normal use of the mobile phone.
Clean:After the dental handpiece is used, it should be cleaned as soon as possible, otherwise the dirt will solidify and be difficult to clean. Before unloading the needle, clean the debris from the working head with water mist, then scrub with 75% alcohol. Or use a special automatic cleaning machine to clean. Which method to use depends on the specific circumstances of each clinic.
